Travel Ailment: Jet Lag

Alternative Solution: Melatonin

Administration: 1 mg tablet under your tongue at bedtime for the first one to three nights after arriving at your destination.

 

Travel Ailment: Motion Sickness

Alternative Solution: Ginger

Administration: Two to four 500-mg capsules before travel; for added relief you can either chew on ginger lollies or sip hot ginger tea during travel.

 

Travel Ailment: Diarrhea

Alternative Solution: Blackberry root bark

Administration: 1 teaspoon of the liquid extract mixed in warm water every two to four hours until symptoms disappear.

 

Travel Ailment: Lowered immunity

Alternative Solution: Echinacea

Administration: 1 capsule four times daily for two weeks leading up to your trip.

 

Pregnant women and those with health issues should consult their doctors as hers might have contraindications
