Meetings International will hold the 2nd International Conference on Cardiology & Cardiac Nursing on 18-20 June 2018 in Paris, France.

Under the theme “New Challenges and Innovations in Cardiological Research”, the conference aims to provide cardiac physicians, specialists, nurses, technologists and anyone professionally involved in cardiovascular diseases with an opportunity to learn more about the complexity of the disease, discuss interventional procedures, and look at new and advanced cardiac practices and their efficacy.

Despite receiving less media coverage than cancer, cardiovascular disease is the world’s leading cause of death, having claimed more than 17.5 million lives in 2016, according to the World Health Organization.

The conference includes a line-up of world-class experts who will cover both broad and specific topics of interest, such as clinical cardiology, paediatric cardiology, cardiovascular surgeries, cardiac regeneration, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, vascular heart diseases, cardio-oncology, cardiovascular radiology and intervention, and nuclear cardiology.

It will also broaden the discussion to a wider range of topics, including obesity and diabetes, cardiovascular diseases during pregnancy, cardiac diagnostic tests, heart stroke and advanced nursing practices as well as cardiac nursing, a specialist nursing field that focuses on caring for patients suffering from different conditions of the cardiovascular system.

The conference is not only designed for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and university professors, but also invites medical students, research scholars, business entrepreneurs and training institutes, as well as software making associations, medical device manufacturers, diagnostic companies, and cardiology societies to share their experiences with all aspects of this rapidly expanding field.

Aside from being a global pioneer in organising high-quality conferences, meetings, workshops and seminars in all major fields of science, technology and medicine, Meetings International also supports broad scope research and peer reviews among a wide range of specialists worldwide. All major conferences produced by Meetings International are accredited with Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Continuing Education (CE), and Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
