With over 15 years of invaluable experience, Dr. Baskar leads ground-breaking research utilizing human adult cells from diverse tissues. His pioneering work involves conducting clinical trials using immune cells and stem cells to address conditions with limited standard therapeutic alternatives.
Dr. Baskar's expertise lies primarily in the application of bone marrow and umbilical cord-derived stem cells for treating spinal cord injuries, liver cirrhosis, and diabetic wound ulcers. He is a specialist in the production of cGMP grade MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells), as well as Natural Killer cells, CTL cells (cytotoxic T lymphocytes), and DC cells (dendritic cells).
